[APT] Growing The Game of Padel, All Around The World

Babolat and APT (American Padel Tour) have signed a contract naming the French brand the official ball and footwear provider for the circuit. In 2021, the APT Padel Tour is going global and is set to host new tournaments outside of America.

Eric Babolat, CEO of Babolat, and Fabrice Pastor, President of the APT Padel Tour and CEO of Monte Carlo International Sports, announced a partnership that will make the Babolat Court ball and Jet Premura APT shoes the official balls and footwear of the APT Padel Tour.

This partnership will increase the visibility of the Babolat brand in the international padel community. The APT Padel Tour selected Babolat as the official ball and footwear provider for its international circuit because of Babolat’s expertise in padel and innovative, high quality products.

As part of its ongoing work to promote the development, internationalization, and growth of padel as a sport, Babolat is excited to partner with the APT, as a company that is closely aligned with the organization’s philosophy. The French brand, which currently has a presence in 150 countries around the world, is characterized by its innovative and continuous development of products, which provide optimum performance and stand out with bold and unique designs. Being named the official ball and footwear provider for these tournaments highlights the great work that Babolat is doing to promote padel at all levels.

Babolat understands the game and its players, and cares about them and their needs. By listening, observing, and analyzing the game and its players, Babolat has developed a level of technical knowledge that enables us to provide the highest products, adapted to players’ needs, across our whole padel range. It is why we are confident that our partnership with the APT Padel Tour will be highly beneficial for both parties, as well as for the sport itself.

The APT Padel Tour is an international circuit that was created to promote padel as a sport at all levels. It comprises various tournaments and masters in a circuit that will benefit from vast media coverage and a high standard of organization. These are the ideal conditions for the best players in the world to develop their sport and help bring the game of padel to the wider public. The circuit also involves a high level of training. Thanks to the clinics and courses that complement the tournaments, young players are given the opportunity to test themselves and learn from the best padel players around.

2021 will be a key year for the growth of the APT, even though it is a relatively new organization. The APT will open its calendar and borders to incorporate tournaments outside of the American continent. The arrival of the circuit in Europe (8 tournaments) is a further step toward the international consolidation of padel as a sport and will present a wide variety of new opportunities to players and clubs alike. All of this comes with powerful media coverage, including live broadcasting on television networks and streaming coverage via the internet.
